The GenuTrain P3 is an active bandage that ensures better guidance of the kneecap. By wearing the GenuTrain P3, the knee is stabilized and can be moved normally. In addition, when using the GenuTrain P3, knee pain is also reduced when stretching the knee joint.
P3 stands for 'permanent patella protection'. This means that the GenuTrain P3 offers permanent protection of the kneecap. The GenuTrain P3 contains two integrated pads and an adjustable correction wire. The pad ensures that the kneecap is centered. The correction wire can be set differently per person and ensures that no slipping on the side can occur. In this way, the kneecap can move in a natural way. In addition, the pelottes also have a massaging effect which reduces the pain. Swelling around the kneecap decreases faster and muscles that stabilize the joint are activated.
If knee pain is experienced when stretching the knee joint while walking, climbing stairs, squatting, cycling or sitting for a long time, it is advisable to wear the GenuTrain P3. In the aforementioned complaints, it may be that the tendons around the kneecap (patella) or the cartilage of the kneecap are damaged or injured.
